Crispy Abalone Mushroom Crackers


  • Julie’s Cheese Crackers crumbs 2 cups
  • All purpose flour 1 cup
  • Rice flour 1 cup
  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Large eggs 2
  • Abalone mushroom
  • Cooking oil (for deep frying)

Step 1:
Separate the egg yolks from white. Use only the egg whites. Set aside.

Step 2:
Crush Julie’s Cheese Crackers into fine crumbs.

Step 3:
Combine all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, biscuit crumbs) together in a mixing bowl.

Step 4:
Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan.

Step 5:
Coat the mushrooms in the dry ingredients mixture and dip them into the egg whites. Repeat this step.

Step 6:
Deep-fry the coated mushrooms on high heat until golden brown.
