Executive / Senior Executive (Branding & Marketing)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Working on marketing strategy in accordance with the overall company goals.
  • Aligning ATL and BTL campaigns to ensure compliance with Corporate Identity.
  • Overseeing and developing campaign ideas for festive season.
  • Organizing and overseeing advertising/communication campaigns (social media, TV etc.), exhibitions and promotional events.
  • Working closely with external agencies on marketing campaign.
  • Evaluating and reviewing marketing campaigns to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective.
  • Brainstorming and developing copywriting ideas, strategies and concepts for rebranding communication material.
  • Staying updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging.
  • Developing, creating and writing content across online and offline platforms including notice, press release, social media and brochures.
  • Interpreting creative direction and adapting points from creative brief/content into persuasive copy concept.
  • Providing copywriting support on other company written material.
  • Managing other ad-hoc tasks as deemed necessary by the Company and other responsibilities as assigned by the superior and/or Company.
  • Undertaking any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior and/or Company.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Possess at least a minimum Diploma or Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing/ Customer Relations Management/ Mass Communication/ Commerce/ Business Administration or other related discipline.
  • Knowledge and experience in branding, marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, other marketing tools, Photoshop, photography, videography, customer service and customer relationship management would be an added advantage.
  • A passion for the food and biscuits industry. Driven to take on new challenges and able to perform challenging tasks given at any time.
  • Creative thinking and can bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Good copywriting skill in English.
  • Open-minded, humble and willing to accept constructive feedback.
  • Dedicated, self-started and self-motivating attitude.
  • Good organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills.
  • Highly versatile and able to anticipate heavy workload during peak periods to meet close deadlines while maintaining a positive work attitude.
  • Pleasant personality and good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and also as team player where frequent collaboration across functional teams is necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Malay, and Chinese is an added advantage.
  • Work closely together with other teammates on a daily basis.
  • Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office, other relevant software and application.
  • To be based in Alor Gajah, Melaka.
  • To possess own transport.
