Executive (Packing)

Demeanour, Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Operations

  • To ensure the smoothness of the overall operation.
  • To arrange and monitor the Supervisor and Asst. Supervisor work positioning.
  • To ensure good coordination on machine operation and product output.
  • To track production progress, ensure adherence to the production planned schedule and planed output are achieve in daily production.
  • To ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.

Problem Solving

  • To overcome and solve manufacturing problems (Investigate problems, analyze root causes and define resolutions)
  • To improve production efficiency in terms of manpower and work arrangement.
  • To reduce rejects on wrappers, biscuits and other packaging materials.
  • To ensure the cleanliness of Packing Department.
  • To report malfunctions of any Packing related items and its subsequent losses.

Compliance

  • To ensure all GMP, HACCP, ISO, FSSC, HAS and OHSAS requirements are carried out during daily operation.
  • Comply with the company’s and departmental procedures and regulations.

Training

  • To train subordinates.
  • To attend weekly operation meetings and organize meetings with supervisors, leaders and workers when necessary.
  • To conduct briefing, HACCP and on-job training to the workers.
  • Before handing-over the shift, to brief and write down any outstanding instructions to the next shift.
  • Before taking-over the shift, to receive handing-over comments from the previous shift and take necessary actions.

Discipline

  • To maintain and enhance a positive working environment.
  • To maintain good communication and build up team spirit amongst workers and staff and those of other departments.
  • To motivate and maintain staffs and workers discipline.
  • Undertaking any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior and/or Company.

Qualifications and Skills Required The ideal candidate will have: –

  • Possess at least a Degree and with at least 5 years of experience in related field.
  • Possess good mechanical knowledge and relevant working experience in the manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Detail oriented, able to practice high level of caution.
  • Able to make effective and firm decisions.
  • Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to communicate effectively with his superiors, peers, and subordinates.
  • Able to speak and write fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Computer-literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • To work in shift. (Shift A: 6am-2pm; Shift B: 2pm -10pm; Shift C; 10pm-6am)
  • Possession of own transport is preferred.
  • To be based in Alor Gajah, Melaka.
